Charles Rangel, Don't Insult Disabled People

Today I read on CBS that US Rep. Charles Rangel insulted disabled people by comparing them to Sarah Palin. Here's the story from CBS (excerpted):

Rangel: I Didn't Mean To Call Palin 'Disabled'

"You got to be kind to the disabled," Rangel said.

CBS 2 HD: "You got to be kind to the disabled?"

Rangel: "Yes."

CBS 2 HD: "She's disabled?"

Rangel: "There's no question about it politically. It's a nightmare to think that a person's foreign policy is based on their ability to look at Russia from where they live."

I am saddened to hear that disabled people would be so insulted by Charles Rangel. It's obvious to me that Sarah Palin, the beauty queen with FOUR colleges attended in a 6 year period just to earn ONE bachelor's degree in journalism, is far beneath anything or anyone that could be considered disabled. Sarah Palin is not disabled. She's just a moron that honestly believes that her foreign policy expertise consists of being able to see Russia near her house while she skins a moose. However, she obviously has more expertise than that since she just got her first passport in 2007, visited Canada once, landed in Ireland, and went to Kuwait or something like that.

Honestly, Charles Rangel is right in his implication of Sarah Palin's obvious stupidity. Think about it. There has to be something mentally deficient about Caribou Barbie for her to actually believe she's got the experience to be Vice President of the United States, one 70+ year-old heart attack away from the Presidency. And anyone who can't see that is just as mentally deficient!

And NO! It is NOT sexist to point out Caribou Barbie's lack of qualifications.
