Oh, I know I am going to piss off quite a few women with this concept.
Men who "father" children should be given an option to be considered sperm donors!
I came across this website regarding deadbeat baby daddies. Just do a search; there are quite a few angry women out there who aren't getting their state-sanctioned handouts from the men who impregnated them. I understand, agree, and sympathize with many of those women because they were in loving relationships. They were with guys who basically played the role of a good man, were persuaded and subsequently hoodwinked and bamboozled.
Personally, I feel men like that are in the same position as rapists. They sneak up on unsuspecting women and take advantage of them. What's the difference between that man taking his time to take advantage or just taking it forcibly right then and there. Should a con man keep $50,000 he swindled from an old lady over a thief who snatched a purse for $20? It's the same thing! The process doesn't make it different.
So enough of being on the woman's side because it's not all the man's fault. There are some women out there that I call predator bitches. They will do whatever they can to get and trap that man with a baby.
The most notable, and extreme, examples are the ones that occur with sports figures or rich men in general. They are the most chased after commodity. We've heard the stories. These women just won't quit. They're the ones that plan and plot, get through security, and make it to that guy. Then you've got the regular guys who have good jobs. They don't make mistakes until one is made for them in the form of hole poked in a condom or the customary lie, "I am on the pill!" Finally, you have the casual encounters and one-night stands. No one wants to have a baby but people just don't learn!
So, all is said and done and the baby is here. The "father" doesn't want to be a father. He never wanted to have a baby and even if he did, he didn't want one with a predator bitch. What are his rights when the woman has complete control? Exactly. Complete control means he has NO RIGHTS. I think that ought to change.
Just as women have the right to have the baby, men should have the right to NOT have the baby. I don't mean women should be forced into having abortions or to even be forced to have that baby. I am pro-choice. But, my pro-choice stance includes the rights of the "'father" to NOT be responsible for that child.
Think of it like this. There are thousands of women, single women, that pay thousands of dollars for artificial insemination. This means that they've chosen to have a baby without a man. Where are the men's rights in all of this? Signed away when they gave their sample. They get paid $50, more or less, to give some sperm. Then some doctor gets all the money, thank you's, and glory. And the women don't go chasing the man down for his identity or child support payments.
So, I wonder, when it comes to having a child, what's so different about a one-night stand between two random strangers? What's so different between some NBA star giving his sperm to some predator bitch? Is there some sort of rule that states if there are no doctors involved then the man, if identified, has to be a father to that child, at least in the form of child support payments. Absolutely not.
NO, NO, and NO! There is no difference. If the woman wants to have the baby, that's her choice. I feel that if, and only if, a man and woman are in a loving relationship and they both have agreed to have a child, the man should maintain his responsibility in perpetuity (that means forever). If the man doesn't want to be involved, that SHOULD be his choice and he should not be forced to have any involvement.
In fact, I think men, of specific stature - sports star, handsome celebrity, intellectual - ought to be paid for their services as a sperm donor to a woman who's willing to bear his children. There should be a minimum fee for the sperm alone plus insemination costs if conception occurs. Women who get to bear those children ought to be proud to have that good stock in their gene pool.
I also believe that if such laws were passed, there'd be a lot less predator bitches out there hunting down rich men. There would definitely be a lot less children being born as women would realize that the chances of a man sticking around were truly next to zero. Predator bitches would have to GET A JOB. And, all of those other women would have to be a bit smarter with who they have sex with. At the end of the day, the woman holds the access and she should be smarter with whom she gives access.
If a man has chosen to declare himself a sperm donor, he should STAY that way. If you don't want to be a father, don't come back 20 - 25 years later because you've found out your son or daughter has become a multimillionaire or you need some bone marrow. No! You wanted to be a stranger, STAY A STRANGER.
On a final note, it's not the children's fault. He or she is an innocent victim of circumstances and ought to have full access to the truth of their situation. If the truth is that your mother was a predator bitch chasing after some major league baseball player, then his mother should say, "My child, I was a predator bitch!" Don't badmouth a man to anyone for not living up to your own twisted perception. You weren't used or misled into believing anything. You did all the dirty work.

well i agree that a man should have rights but as all else...he should make his exercise his rights by signing a document w/the woman BEFORE the child comes into the picture so everyone is on the same page...cuz people change their minds...but just like the sperm donor can't really change his mind after he signs away his sample...a dude who claims he gonna support a child can't change their mind during the pregnancy and decide to be ghost...make sense? anyways...i used to do PR work for this site...www.sorryassbabydaddies.com which is now daddydontwantme.com now would that happen to be the site you seen? haha..if not check it out and get back w/me on it...funny but thought provoking concept
I see what you're saying but like in the example of the ball player, why shouldn't he be taking the proper precautions to avoid getting someone pregnant in the first place?
If he didn't want to have a kid with Skankarella, he shoulda brought his own condoms, Did anal or something. Later for believing some hoochie who will do/ say what she can to trap a man.
I have a son and I worry about those type of hoes getting at him when he gets older.
I think the real problem is that people jump into bed entirely too fast and then end up with extra sh*t they didn't ask for. A baby, the clap etc..
But ultimately if you laid up and made a baby with someone intentionally or not why should the kid now have to do without a father because dude didn't mean to have a kid. You make your bed, you gotta lie in it just like the mama does.
JMHO :)
Goddess. I've definitely checked out that site. This idea had been rattling in my head for a few years now. But that site motivated me to put up that blog.
Kitty. I agree. I don't absolve men of their responsibility. I live my own life responsibly. If I can do it, other men can do it as well. At the same time, I think the bed we make isn't the same we slept in when the woman has the ultimate choice what to do with her body. I wouldn't take away a woman's choice to be a mother. But, I don't think a man's choice to be a father should be decided for him.
If a man doesn't want to be a father, he simply won't be. How many children get their child support payments and still never see their "sperm donor"? The question becomes, why should the child be forced to deal with a man who doesn't want to be there? Children need good male role models. Just because a man donated his sperm doesn't make REAL fatherhood a possibility.
"If a man doesn't want to be a father, he simply won't be."
On that note...I agree with Kitty: "why shouldn't he be taking the proper precautions to avoid getting someone pregnant in the first place?".
In the same way that responsible women who do not wish to have children take the proper precautions, so should men. IMO, if a man falls "victim" to a predator bitch, its his own fault. Use condoms (that you purchased yourself) instead of going by her word that she's on the pill, has an IUD, a nuva ring, or whatever else. Or here's a thought...Fellas, think twice about going home & having a lustful one night stand with the firecrotch you met in the club an hour ago. Ladies, don't be so quick to believe every prince charming that comes along whispering sweet nothings in your ear. Your body is YOUR temple, YOUR responsibility. I don't want to have a baby right now. So you know what I do...I take my Yaz pill at 7:00am every morning. Faithfully. And I don't ho-hop in the beds of men that I don't know anything about besides their first names & the kinds of cars they drive. So to the ladies in this sad predicament: its your own fault. To the men that get caught up: it's your own fault.
oh i do see the irony/ but it goes back to the old saying momma's baby... daddy's maybe. i have done extensive research on this subject and even completed my master's thesis on fatherlessness.
so i will sum it up with this...
when one goes to the amusement park to enjoy rides...one does not expect to pay for those rides for the rest of ones life.
paternity is clearly a case of modern taxation without representation, and the scales of justice are tipped!!!!
Ninjas act like they have no say-so in the matter.
NOBODY HAS to FUCK! Not one of us! And if you do, take the steps necessary to protect yourself.
Bring ya OWN dayum condoms to the party; don't trust a bitch you barely know with YOUR future.
I don't agree with the Sperm Donor shit. SORRY! If you get caught up you gotta pay like you weigh.
@Mandii and Kitty.
What about a broken condom situation. A woman on birth control who gets pregnant anyway, or worse, a woman who lies about being on birth control.
@gthompson83...
Ummm, if you take the damn pills like you're supposed to, you won't get pregnant anyway. If someone gets pregnant while on the pill, they are not taking it as directed AND they are not properly timing their sexual activity. Women need to understand the cycles of fertility instead of using the pill as a "morning after" solution to irresponsible behavior. Men, you need to strap up...period, no questions asked.
Discretion is key here as well. Don't sleep with random folks. Take your body seriously and none of this will be a problem for you.
However, I agree with President Anthony Taurus on this one. I'm a woman and I truly believe that something out of the ordinary needs to be done to get women to wake the hell up! There are way too many predators out here.
Let's take it a step further. Why not have an "offender list" for women who consistently trap men with babies? Hey, these men are hemmed up all day for having sex with a little skank who lies about her age until her parents find out. Next thing you know, the parents press charges and some young, dumb dude is on the sex offender list. I simply cannot believe that there are just that many rapists in the hood. Somebody is LYING!!
Why not have a list of women who prey on unsuspecting men in efforts to saddle them down with kids and child support payments? After the 3rd offense, yo' ass is on the list, especially if tax payers are being held responsible for you. That way, folks will be a little more careful. LOL!
I will say this: men and women are BOTH responsible for their own sexual practices, period. And President Anthony, I do have to agree with you that some men who perpetrate to be one thing and turn out the complete are just as bad as rapists! And these "predator bitches" needs their fallopian tubes burned AND cut, seriously! see, back in the day, if a woman was loose like Shug Avery from the Color Purple, after you had however many children, they were practically castrating the women without their knowledge.
Now as far as these deadbeat fathers are concerned, I'm dealing with one. Let's just say he was one of those rapists. And I took on the responsibility of sitting down with my son and explaining to him why his father isn't around. I didn't bad-mouth his father at all, that's childish. My son is a bright child, and he understood what I was telling him. Unfortunately, my son made up in his mind that he never wants to see his father, because of the fact that he left him and me. Can't say that I blame him, but that's life. I do the best I can to raise my son to be what God created him to be. But one thing I can tell my son is be a better man, and when he has children with his wife, LOVE THEM UNCONDITIONALLY. Don't be just a baby daddy, be a father.
